In case you didn’t notice, the wind was howling in the harbor tonight. Boston Harbor is under a Gale warning, with gusts up to 35 kts. The harbor was full of 2-3 feet white caps tonight, and driving home, I saw sand being blown off the beach onto the road.
Watching these conditions made me fell less bad about not having my boat in for the season yet- tonight wouldn’t have been a good night to be out. This shot from Steamboat Marina in Hull sums it up pretty well- note both the flags and the windmill.
